March marks four years since I became a mother, which is perhaps why this month’s blog posts have taken on a newborn photography theme. Earlier this month I posted about the joys of newborn photography and why I find it important (read that post here). As a photographer and a mother, getting the opportunity to capture the early stages of a new baby’s life is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.
One of the most frequent questions I get asked about when an expecting mother books a session, is about what props I have available. In this post, I will be sharing my current collection of props and wraps for newborn sessions. Get ready for some major baby cuteness!

Don’t see something you were hoping for?! I’m constantly on the lookout for new and endearing props and wrap colors to add to my collection and always open to suggestions from my clients. My goal is to make each newborn photo session unique and tailored to the individual style and preferences of each family.
While my milestone packages are geared towards a single subject, I know how important it is to include the whole family in newborn photos. Which is why I created the Family Smash Up Session! This is a 75-minute session bundle that provides us time to get family photos in addition to a few solo specialty shots of your new bundle of joy. See the full listing of bundle inclusions here or get in touch using the contact form to book your session now. I can’t wait to celebrate your new family addition when I see you on the other side of the lens!
