I hope everyone had the most wonderful Mother's Day weekend, full of sunshine, snuggles, and maybe a little time to yourself (because we all know moms deserve it!). Whether you're soaking in those fleeting newborn days or wrangling toddlers covered in sidewalk chalk, I see you—and I know how fast these sweet moments go by.
That’s why I’m so excited to announce one of my absolute favorite mini session events of the year: Flower Farm Minis are officially back this summer at For the Love of Flowers Farm in Franksville, WI!
These summer mini sessions take place at a stunning you-pick flower farm that blooms beautifully from mid-summer into early fall. It’s the kind of setting that makes you take a deep breath, slow down, and just soak in the beauty all around you. The vibrant flowers create a gorgeous, magical backdrop that’s absolutely perfect for family photos—and over the years, I’ve had people use these sessions not only for family memories but also for senior portraits or couples photos.

2025 Flower Farm Mini Session Dates:
Sunday, August 3rd
Sunday, August 24th
Saturday, September 6th
Each session includes:
- A 20-minute photo session among the blooming flower field
- A curated online gallery of professionally edited images
- 5 or 12 high-resolution digital downloads with the option to purchase more, or purchase the whole gallery upfront for a slight discount
- A freshly picked flower bouquet to take home from your session
- A keepsake experience that’s as fun as it is beautiful
These sessions are especially perfect for families with young children because there’s so much space to explore and play—PLUS the kiddos love picking flowers after their session! It’s time to get in the photos instead of just catching the moments happening around you. There’s something about this place that keeps me coming back year after year. The light in the evening is golden and soft, the flowers are bursting with color, and the whole experience feels peaceful and joyful. It’s one of the highlights of my summer, and I know so many of my returning families feel the same way. I even make sure to get out to the Flower Farm in between mini session events because of the wonderful experience of picking a fresh flower bouquet to have in the house.

Spots tend to fill quickly for this event, so if you’ve been dreaming of warm summer nights, barefoot kiddos, and arms full of flowers, I’d encourage you to book early and save your spot!
So if dad dropped the ball this Mother’s Day and you want to treat yourself to something special, let’s capture your family as you are—laughing, loving, growing, and blooming together. Can’t wait to see you on the other side of the lens at For the Love of Flowers Farm this summer!
