As we step into another year, I find myself filled with gratitude as I reflect on the cherished memories captured and the wonderful families I had the honor of photographing in 2023. The year began with milestone and engagement photographs and ended with an extended family session as a family celebrating their matriarch’s last Christmas in a home she and her husband built together. I am truly humbled by the trust bestowed upon me to freeze these fleeting moments in time.
Between these bookend sessions, I have had the privilege to host sixteen mini session events and photograph six birthday session, six branding sessions, seven maternity sessions, fourteen high school senior sessions, fourteen couples including two weddings as a lead photographer and four as a second shooter, sixteen newborn sessions, twenty-three headshot sessions, and over one hundred family sessions, five of which were extended families.
To each family that welcomed me into their lives, allowing me to document your stories, laughter, and love, I extend my deepest appreciation. Your trust and enthusiasm have continued to fuel my passion for family photography and beyond. Every giggle, tender embrace, and candid moment shared during our sessions has been a treasure to behold.
The best part of my photography journey has been witnessing families grow, children developing and seeing them bring out their personalities, and bonds strengthening through the lens of my camera. Your stories have woven into the fabric of my own leaving an unforgettable mark and reminding me of the immense privilege it is to do what I love.
As I embark on this new year, I eagerly anticipate reuniting with familiar faces, continuing to witness the growth of your little ones, and capturing more unforgettable moments. Additionally, I am excited at the prospect of meeting new families, sharing in their unique narratives, and preserving their milestones and joys.
