This is a new spot I found last fall and immediately fell in love with! This hidden gem offers a peaceful and scenic setting with a ton of variety for your upcoming family photos. The natural beauty of the Conservancy provides a stunning backdrop that highlights the warm, earth tones of autumn. From natural to paved walking trails, you will be shocked by the amazing photos that come from this gorgeous location.
Creekwood Park | Saturday, October 12th
More of your traditional park setting, I found this stunning location hidden behind a playground my kiddos and I decided to try out. The park’s wide grassy field and tree-lined paths offer a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space for children to fun and play. If you especially love those joyful, candid moments, this spot is perfect for you. Layer on the vibrant fall colors and you will be ecstatic with the final gallery you receive about two to three weeks after your session date.
For the Love of Flowers Farm | Sunday, October 13th
Flower season may be over but last year’s installment of the “Mater Truck” on the farm brought with it a special Harvest Truck Mini Event that I am so excited to bring back for another year! Give your family photos that nostalgic, rustic vibe with an adorable fall setup next to a vintage pickup truck, complete with mums and pumpkins. This is my old soul’s version of the red truck minis you so often see with Christmas Mini Sessions and I am over the moon to be bringing it back again for year two!
Canterbury Elementary School Woods | Sunday, October 27th
If you’ve ever visited the local elementary school near downtown Greendale, you know the woods surrounding it in fall is chockful of gorgeous colors! The wooded trails and clusters of mature trees create the perfect spot for families looking for a quiet, nature-inspired family photo session with an abundance of autumn hues. It’s a location you simply can’t beat when it comes to fall family photos!
Poplar Creek Tree Farm | Sunday, November 10th
This tree farm holds a special place for me because it was where I had my first successful mini session event. I am so excited to be returning for my fourth year of Tree Farm Mini Sessions to this charming location filled with rows of evergreens with a touch of rustic atmosphere. The farm’s cozy, rural setting is perfect for families who want to incorporate seasonal elements into their photos and the ideal location for Christmas card photos!
