Never done a mini session and not sure what to expect?! The thing I love most about mini sessions is they are quick and fast paced so kids don’t have the time to lose interest. We keep things moving and full of fun so smiles stay genuine and kids stay entertained. To get all the photos you want in a short amount of time, it does require a little focus which is where I recommend bringing bribes or having an incentive in mind for if the kiddos smile nice the whole time. For our family photos, I often tell my three-year-old we can go to the zoo to the ride the train or go out for ice cream right after the photo session. No harm in a little treat for the kiddos who give the camera a big, toothy smile for a full 20-minutes. I can’t wait to hear about your go-to incentives when I see you on the other side of the lens this fall!
