We’re well into the new year but it wasn’t too long ago that it was the time of twinkling lights, cozy sweaters, and snuggling up for some hot cocoa around the Christmas Tree. 2022 marked the first year I hosted a Christmas in Studio Mini Session event and it quickly created some of my favorite photos from this past year.
These mini sessions were like a whirlwind of holiday excitement in a 20-minute window. Within the studio space at Everyday Studio MKE, I set up two charming Christmas scenes: one with a studio essence on a plain white backdrop and the other to mimic Christmas morning at home with a comfy couch and large tree. In addition to the two Christmas themed spots, there was still space throughout the studio for other precious, candid moments for families to indulge in with one another.
The enthusiasm each family entered the room with was as sweet as freshly baked cookies that could even make the Grinch crack a smile. Wrangling little ones and capturing their genuine, unscripted joy was a treat in itself. From the infectious giggles to Christmas storybook time, these mini sessions turned into a heartwarming spectacle of love, laughter, and family bonds.
This not only marks the first year I hosted these Christmas in Studio Minis but rather they sparked the beginning of a beautiful traditions! The response to these mini photo sessions was beyond heartwarming and I am excited to announce they will be back again later this year for a second round.
