It's a Boy!!
As a family photography, I love capturing all of life’s little moments you hold dear and want to remember for a lifetime. Which is just one reason why this heartwarming gender reveal family session on the beautiful Hoyt Park bridge in Wauwatosa was so thrilling. In anticipation of their second child, mom and dad wanted to do a special reveal to their five-year-old, soon to be big sister in a memorable way. With confetti canons and glowing smiles, they announced that they were expecting a baby boy in November, coincidently on big sister’s half birthday.
I have been wanting to do a photo session on the bridge at Hoyt Park since I started my business. It was the perfect picturesque backdrop for this memorable event as the blue that fired from the canons popped against the stone arch of the bridge. The structure itself frames families to create a finished looked straight out of camera.
As a photographer, it is an honor to document the unique stories and milestones of families. This gender reveal family session was no exception. The love, happiness, and genuine excitement that emanated from this family were infections throughout the session. The tender moments between mom and dad as they revealed the gender to big sister and her pure delight in finding out she was getting a little brother is why I love doing what I do.
