As a family photographer in Greendale, WI, I am constantly reminded of the beauty and joy that families bring into our lives. Recently, I had the pleasure of hosting my first ever Beach Mini Session event at the picturesque rocky beach at South Shore Park in Bayview, WI. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Michigan, six families attended these mini sessions to create lasting memories and celebrate their bonds with one another. The event was the perfect combination of love, laughter, and capturing precious moments.
Nestled in a charming Bayview neighborhood, the rocky portion of the beach at South Shore Park provided an idyllic location for this year’s mini session event. With Lake Michigan’s glistening waters and the rugged yet serene coastline, it offered a natural beauty that perfectly complemented the families and their energetic children.
Mini sessions are great for spirited families because of the fast-paced nature for 20-minutes of photo taking. We move quickly from one grouping or pose to the next which creates a variety of photos to adorn the final gallery. Precious moments are captured because everyone is focused on one another as they disconnect from the world for the short session.
I love mini sessions because I get to meet a variety of families all in one day. Each family with their own distinct charm making the photo session experience lively and entertaining. The boundless energy and genuine smiles always add an extra sparkle to the sessions. From candid embraces to playful laughter, every image showcases the unique dynamics and personalities within each family.
My purpose as a family photographer is to immortalize the love and connections that bind families together.
