[exceeded all expectations]
It takes a certain type of person to photograph a moving 9 month old + a 3 year old....and it takes an even more amazing person to do it well. I went into our family session with the hopes of one printable photo to add to our wall. Vanessa exceeded all expectations -- I have SO MANY favorites. She also did a great job giving sneak peaks along the way. She also got our edited album back very timely. We will be using her again!

After 1 mini session and just a few sneak peeks I was already running to book another mini session! Vanessa gave clear directions for us and was able to snap fast to capture our family perfectly. It felt easy, which enabled me to really relax once we got going. Those with little ones understand how stressful this has the potential to be! Her editing and final photos were full of vibrant colors and are exploding with my girls energy. I am so grateful and can not wait for our next session!

As a parent, family photos have the potential to be extremely stressful. Will the kids behave? Will they smile genuinely? Will the photographer be able to get ANY usable shots? Happily, Vanessa knocks it out of the park EVERY time. I'm always astounded by the amount of wonderful photos - both posed and candid - she is able to capture of my family.

We were so happy with the pictures from our session with Vanessa! Not only did her photos perfectly capture our family's personality, she even got our dog to smile and she went above and beyond with our boys to make the session fun. Speaking of above and beyond, we got rained out on our original date, and Vanessa promptly worked with us to get the date rescheduled quickly. We are so happy with our photos and can't wait to work with Vanessa again.

Vanessa is absolutely amazing! She was so patient with our dog (he's a handful) and was able to make adjustments on the fly during our shoot. Very easy to communicate with and had our photos back so quick. We will definitely be booking all our family photos with her in the future! [I was actually having fun]
I get so anxious getting my picture taken and am always nervous that I’m going to look awkward. Vanessa made this experience so much less stressful. Every smile in my photos was genuine and every laugh was because I was actually having fun! The pictures look AMAZING and you can tell how much passion, love, and care goes into every step of the process on Vanessa's end. From posing all the way to editing, but most importantly FUN as heck!! 10/10 would recommend!!
