Are you someone who scrolls through Pinterest as you’re nearing a photo session looking for inspiration? Suddenly you fall in love with a particular theme and dive down the rabbit hole of very similar specific images. At that point you’re committed to a particular set of photos and hope you can find a photographer to make your vision come true.
This spring I had the privilege of trying to make a new mama’s vision come to life… twice! She found a flower theme she wanted for her maternity session and toughed out her session in an open field with a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers in nearly freezing temperatures. The sunset behind her just emphasized her natural glow as we captured this time of anticipation.
After a few weeks, with a newborn baby in tow, we attempted to recreate a new set of Pinterest ideas during the family’s in home lifestyle newborn session. They had recently renovated the house just in time for baby boy to arrive, so the setting was perfect and the nursery was a cozy little nook to capture some moments in. We even got the pups to jump in a few photos to show how their loving family was growing.
