The days are starting to get longer and the temperature is [trying] to rise… must mean spring is in the air. Or at least that’s what this Wisconsin girl who is over the chilly weather is hoping for! And with the anticipation of spring lingering around the corner, I am so excited to start planning Spring Mini Sessions for this year!

If the last four years in business has taught me anything, it is to plan for the unexpected. However, one thing that has always been constant in the spring season are the beautiful blossoming trees Greendale, WI has to offer. From magnolia trees to crab apple trees, there is gorgeous scenery that is waiting to be the backdrop for your updated family photos this spring.

Mini sessions are great because it is a quick, fun 20-minute session that leaves you with a variety of precious moments caught on camera. You have the opportunity to unplug from the chaos life is most likely handing you and devote time to being with those who matter most to you. Snuggle up, have some laughs, and run around with a little spring in your step (pun intended) from finally getting in the fresh air again!

As a family photographer, and a mother of two little ones, I understand the importance of capturing the little moments that are so fleeting. Three weeks prior to your mini session, I touch base with a few tips and tricks about how to make your session as stress-free as possible. The biggest one being: don’t be afraid to bring treats and bribes along to get the kiddos to cooperate for our quick session. My go-to is Pez… little enough to hide in their hand or in their mouth if they don’t eat it right away :)

Post session, you can expect your final gallery 2-3 weeks from your session date. When the final gallery is delivered, you choose the images included in your session and download directly from the final gallery link. Additional images for lower packages are available for purchase or go all in with a Medley Mini Session package and receive the full gallery of 25+ images right away. I maintain a quick turnaround for all photo session because I know how hard it is to wait after getting primped and beautified for family photos… it can be unbearable!

If this sounds like your jam for updating your family photos this spring, make sure to check out the mini sessions page on the main website and grab your spot for spring photos this year! Or if you want a little extra time in spring weather with a photographer catching your memories, get in touch to start planning a regular session. I can’t wait to see you on the other side of the lens as we welcome warmer weather!
