Throughout the year, we have the opportunity to acknowledge and commemorate various causes and events during different months. We’re all familiar with February as Black History Month or October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to name a couple. But did you know May is Photography Month?? If you didn’t, you’re not alone… I just stumbled upon this little nugget of information myself. But now that I have, I am so ready to celebrate the art of photography and the gift it provides us with capturing special memories to last forever. In celebration and gratitude, I’m going to use today’s blog post to talk about what photography has given me, especially in the last two years since starting Weber Photography.
As someone who has a terrible memory, photographs give me a chance to look back on previous experiences and enjoy moments all over again. In fact, my four-year-old just recently wanted to see pictures of herself as a baby. For myself, it was a joy to look back on a time that passed by in a blink and for her, it was a story of a life she experienced but has no memory of. Almost as if she was watching a story unfold of her life as told by someone on the outside looking in.
When you work with a professional photographer, you receive stunning images that capture your memories and tell a story. And if you’re lucky enough to work with the same photographer time after time, you form friendships and trust that makes each photo session relaxed and fun.
So, let’s celebrate Photography Month by working together to capture the magic and beauty of life through photography time and time again. Use the contact form to get in touch so we can start our long-term collaboration of creating amazing images that you’ll cherish forever. I can’t wait to see you on the other side of the lens!
