2022 has been my first full-fledged year of being in business. When I began pursuing this dream in 2021, I was 7 months pregnant so I got a little bit of traction before having my youngest but then had to slow down a bit when I became a mom of two. If you are a parent of more than one child, you know how that adjustment period goes. The nice thing about this is the ease into business gave me a slow steady pace to figure out my process and how I can best serve my clients.
I’ve had a lot of questions about the services I offer as a photographer and what the process is like so I thought I would take this chance to provide some insight into how I have structured my photography business. The next few blog posts will dive into why I offer the sessions I offer and what it’s like when you book a session with Weber Photography. To that end, I’m going to begin with what you can expect from me from inquiry to final gallery delivery.
Everything begins with the initial inquiry which can come from filling out the contact form or emailing weberphotographymke@gmail.com. Let me know what type of session you are interested in and your preferred date range. I make every effort to reply to all inquiries within 24 business hours and try to narrow down an exact date that works for both of us. Once we nail down a date and time, I send over a confirmation, session agreement, invoice, and model release form. Sometimes a location is decided upon as well but if we need a little more time to mull over the exact spot for your session, I make sure to get in touch about one week prior to your photo session to firm up the location.
When we arrive at your session date, I meet you at our agreed upon spot and we have tons of fun photographing special moments you share with your family. I try to get the majority of photos with everyone looking and smiling but also throw in a few interactive photos with cuddles and tickles if that’s your cup of tea. Within 48 hours of our session, I like to send a small sneak peek of the moments I caught.
With permission, I share a few images on social media during the next following weeks while I work on editing your final gallery. My aim is to deliver the final photo gallery 3-4 weeks from your session date with a guarantee of getting your photos with 30 days. All final images are available as digital downloads with an option to purchase prints from my online store.
